Das Buch besteht in weiten Teilen aus Erklärungen der in den Menüs vorhandenen Menüpunkte. Oft finden sich überflüssige Hinweise (eben Hinweise "für Dummies") wie bspw. "Wenn Sie Ihre Änderungen nicht speichern wollen, schließen SIe die Tabelle [...] und wählen Sie Nein im folgenden Dialogfeld." (S. 131). Wer hätte das gedacht: Wenn man nicht speichern will, soll man auf die Frage "Wollen Sie speichern?" mit Nein antworten. Ganz ehrlich: Für solche "Tipps" muss ich mir kein teures Fachbuch kaufen. Weite Teile des Buchs bewegen sich auf diesem Niveau.Ein weiteres Beispiel: In Access gibt es mehrere Assistenten zum Erstellen von Abfragen. Zum Thema Kreuztabellenabfrage weiß das Buch zu vermelden: "Der Kreuztabellenabfrage-Assistent fasst mehrere Zeilen von Daten in einem tabellenartigen Format zusammen. Eine Kreuztabelle ähnelt einer Excel-Pivot-Tabelle." Alles klar?! Wenn nicht: schade! Denn mehr sagt das Buch dem Leser darüber nicht.Das Buch war für meinen Einstieg in Access komplett nutzlos, rausgeschmissenes Geld. Gute Hinweise zum Umgang mit Access habe ich mir dann - notgedrungen - im Internet zusammengesucht.

Ich finde die Bücher einfach klasse. Es wird ausführlich und detailliert beschrieben.Die Beispiele finde ich auch immer sehr hilfreich.Kann diese Buch nur empfehlen.

Sehr interessant; gut zu verstehen, logisch aufgebaut. Sehr umfangreich gut geschrieben, Gott sei Dank ist es bunt, für Anfänger geeignet.
